The Franklin County Training and Exercise Committee (FCTEC) is coordinated by FCEM&HS and is integrated with the Chemical Emergency Preparedness Advisory Committee (CEPAC) Planning, Exercise and Training Committee (PETC) to assess current training and exercise needs for our emergency partners in Franklin County.
The committee consists of representatives from the various response disciplines and meets quarterly to review current and future trainings and exercises, identify available opportunities, and coordinate the scheduling and hosting of the requested training. The combined committee holds a Training and Exercise Planning Workshop (TEPW) every year to determine current and future training and exercise needs to help sustain or improve response capabilities and combine exercises to enhance preparedness for all hazards.
