Franklin County Outdoor Warning Siren Test Canceled Tomorrow Due to Extreme Cold

    COLUMBUS, Ohio — Due to the extremely cold temperatures and dangerous wind chills in the forecast, Franklin County Emergency Management and Homeland Security (FCEM&HS) will suspend the noon test of the Franklin County Outdoor Warning Siren System tomorrow, January 22, 2025. FCEM&HS is suspending the test to avoid any potential mechanical damage to the siren system. FCEM&HS will resume the weekly noon siren test next Wednesday, January 29, 2025, as scheduled.
