COLUMBUS, Ohio— Due to the volume of outdoor activities planned for the upcoming Independence Holiday, Franklin County Emergency Management and Homeland Security (FCEM&HS) will suspend its noon test of the Franklin County Outdoor Warning Siren System this Wednesday, July 3rd. FCEM&HS is suspending the test to avoid any confusion with the siren system’s operation to indicate a Tornado Warning and the need for anyone attending outdoor activities to take protective measures.

FCEM&HS will resume the weekly noon siren test next Wednesday, July 10, 2019 as scheduled.
