Weekly Franklin County Outdoor Warning Siren Test Cancelled Today

    Posted: 6/14/2017
COLUMBUS, Ohio— Due to the unsettled weather pattern being experienced in Franklin County and chance for severe weather predicted for our area today, Franklin County Emergency Management and Homeland Security (FCEM&HS) will suspend its Wednesday noon test today of the Franklin County Outdoor Warning Siren System.  FCEM&HS is suspending the test to avoid any confusion with the siren system’s operation to indicate a Tornado Warning and the need to take protective measures.

In the future, FCEM&HS expects to resume the weekly siren test as scheduled.
