FCEM&HS Director Michael R. Pannell discussed the agency's participation in Vibrant Response 13-2 in August at Camp Atterbury in southwestern Indiana with members of the Franklin County Sheriff's Office. VR 13-2 is the most comprehensive exercise the Department of Defense (DoD) conducts for its homeland response forces confirming the operational and tactical capabilities of its CBRNE Enterprise. This was the first time local, state and federal partners jointly exercised in a DoD Full Scale Exercise as planning team members and exercise players.
